252 Crore Dr*g Probe: Influencer Orry Faces 7.5-Hour Interrogation, Siddhanth Kapoor Likely to Be Called Again

In the ongoing ₹252-crore drugs case, social media influencer Orhan Awatramani — popularly known as “Orry” — appeared for questioning before the Anti‑Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Crime Branch, Ghatkopar unit, on Wednesday. He arrived at around 1:30 p.m. and left the ANC office by 9:00 p.m., completing nearly 7.5 hours of interrogation.

This appearance came after a second summons issued to him. Previously, on November 20, he had been summoned but requested additional time, saying he would only be available after November 25. The ANC then reissued the summons and Orry complied.

On November 25, actor-director Siddhanth Kapoor — brother of actress Shraddha Kapoor — had been questioned by the same unit for nearly five hours. The ANC officers reportedly found his responses unsatisfactory, which may prompt a fresh summons for him as well. Authorities are also planning to scrutinise his bank transactions as part of the broader probe.

According to police sources, Orry’s name surfaced during interrogation of a key accused in the case, Mohammed Salim Sohail Shaikh, alias “Lavish,” who was recently deported from Dubai. Shaikh’s statements reportedly linked Orry and several high-profile individuals to reputed drug-fuelled parties in India and abroad. This triggered the sweeping investigation by the ANC.

Despite the extended grilling, Orry left the ANC office without speaking to the media. At this point, the interrogation appears to be for verification and fact-finding only — no formal charges have been filed against him. Meanwhile, the probe continues, and further summons may follow depending on responses and findings.
